A week in the life of a Plumber

While we may specialise in home renovation plumbing and new build plumbing, our work is not restricted to these two types. We often are involved in a lot of maintenance plumbing, drainage and gas fitting as well and enjoy the variety of work we are involved in.

To give you a bite size taste of the things we get up to, here is a rundown of a few things we have done in the last week or so.

We have roughed in, or in layman’sterms run the pipes and drainage before walls get sheeted with fibroin a bathroom renovation.

Fixed a leak on some drainage of a P-Trap toilet (drainage running into the wall) by removing the toilet and replacing what is known as the pan collar.

Diverted storm water after it was damaged during building work, and add some storm water drainage to 2 additional down pipes that will be added.

Replace a vanity with a new one to modernise an en suite.

Fit offa new bathroom with some lovely new fittings and fixtures which include gold shower and tapware, a floating vanity and an in wall toilet cistern.

Priced up a job for a shower and hand held rail and hand held shower rose for a customer going in for a knee replacement.

Replaced an electric hot water system down at Burleigh Heads.

And changed over some washers in a basin that had seized up.

There is just such a variety of work we are able to do, and we don’t mind a bit of a challenge as there can be some great results with problem solving.
